2023 Petit Verdot

This single varietal Petit Verdot boldly delivers! Blueberry pie, sugar plum and blackberry jam open, followed closely by bramble, tobacco, and black pepper. Violet, lavender, sage and hints of cassis round out the nose. Bold in tannin and body, yet lifted by a fresh acidity that hides its true power, this wine finishes with impressive length. This Petit Verdot will age beautifully in bottle. 

WINEMAKER’S NOTES:

1.38 Tons harvested at North Gate Vineyard October 9. Minimum effective sulfites. Aging: 100% French oak (5% new) for 17 months. Bottled: April 2025. Less than 75 cases produced. 750mL
